Leading for Impact Programme (LIP) Terms and Conditions
PROGRAMME FEE
Fee includes programme materials (in digital format) and refreshments (for physical format only).

PAYMENT
- Registration(s) is confirmed when full payment is made and when ICDM sends you the confirmation as specified in paragraph 3 below. ICDM reserves the right to refuse admission if registration is not confirmed.
- Full payment must be made no later than 14 days prior to the programme date through:
a) Online payment transfer, cash deposit or cheque deposit.-

- 3. Payment must be made at least 14 days prior to the date of the programme unless otherwise agreed with ICDM. Proof of payment should be emailed to ICDM at lip@icdm.com.my and finance@icdm.com.my in order to confirm your slot for a programme. Your slot is confirmed only by receiving a confirmation email from ICDM.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- A cancellation notice from a participant must be made in writing.
- The following cancellation charges apply:
- where a cancellation notice is provided less than fourteen (14) working days before the programme date: 50% of the programme fee will be charged.
- where a cancellation notice is provided less than seven (7) working days before the programme date: 100% of the programme fee will be charged.

- Replacement of Participant
Replacement of a participant is acceptable to avoid incurring cancellation fees and subject to meeting the programme’s requirements. Notification of replacement and the details of replacement must be sent to ICDM no later than seven (7) working days before the programme date and full payment of the programme fees must be made. - ICDM reserves the right to cancel or defer the programme, and/or to change venue, speaker, mode of delivery of the programme (either to be conducted physically or electronically), course date and fees due to low enrolment, to comply with any law, guidelines, or due to any unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances. ICDM shall not be responsible for any costs, damages or losses incurred by the participant due to any changes and/or cancellation of the programme.
- ICDM will make all reasonable efforts to notify participants of changes to any programme details, should they happen. If ICDM cancels any programme, participants will be able to attend the next available session.
CPD POINTS & CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
- CPD Points and Certificate of Participation will be issued once you have met the requirements stated below.
- Complete 100% of the duration of the programme
- Submit the evaluation form within 3 working days after the completion of programme (late submission of the evaluation form will not be entertained)
- E-Certificate of Participation will be sent via email.
- CPD Points for ICDM Members will be updated on the ICDM Portal.
When providing ICDM with any personal data (including personal data of any replacement participant), you shall comply at all times with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and shall not in any way cause ICDM to breach any of its obligations under the PDPA. Upon submitting registration for a programme, the participant and the sponsored organisation (if any) are deemed to have read and consent to the terms of the ICDM Privacy Policy, accessible at [https://icdm.com.my/privacy]. You also agree to:
- obtain the replacement participant’s consent to:
- become a replacement participant for a programme; and
- provide his/her information to ICDM for such purposes, prior to providing his/her information to ICDM; and
- provide a copy of the ICDM Privacy Policy to the replacement participant.

- What is LIP?
Amongst the first of its kind, the Leading for Impact Programme (LIP) is designed specifically to help Malaysian board of directors deliver on the sustainability agenda. LIP is an initiative under the Securities Commission Malaysia’s Corporate Governance Strategic Priorities 2021-2023 which aims to provide directors with the foundation to address sustainability risks and opportunities effectively. - Is it compulsory for all the directors to attend LIP programme?
Yes, LIP is a Malaysia’s newly introduced mandatory onboarding programme on sustainability for directors of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. - Who can attend this programme?
The LIP is open to directors of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. However, priority will be given to the companies from Main & ACE Markets. - How to register for the programme?

ICDM will be reviewing the registration within 5 working days upon receiving them. Confirmation of registration email will be sent to all confirmed participants after this period with a further housekeeping email (including the login details) latest 2 working days prior to the programme date. ICDM will also be communicating to those under the waiting list and unsuccessful registrants. - How many LIP sessions that ICDM will conduct for this year?
ICDM will be conducting a minimum of 50 sessions per year. Refer to the LIP programme page for more details on the date options available.
