Sam Ridgeway is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Finance & Risk practice and Climate & Sustainability platform. Over the past thirteen years he has advised financial institutions, governments and public bodies across Europe and Asia on a range of strategic topics. Sam’s major focus for the last four years has been on Climate & Sustainability. He has supported six of the largest banks in Southeast Asia to set Net Zero portfolio emissions targets and strategic implementation plans, including how to set up and train organisations to meet their targets, how to take related commercial opportunities, and how to identify and manage associated climate risks. Sam holds a certificate in Sustainability and Climate Risk from the Global Association of Risk Professionals. In addition to his Climate & Sustainability expertise, Sam has a history in Stress Testing and strategic Finance topics for Financial Institutions. He has also worked in development banking as a Principal in the Local Currency & Capital Markets Development (LC2) team at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.

Kuhan is a Partner with Oliver Wyman’s Kuala Lumpur Office.  He is a strategy and operations transformation expert with over two decades of experience. He has worked extensively to solve a range of strategic and operational issues for clients across both the public and private sectors spanning Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America. He has extensive experience working with Government-Linked Investment Companies (GLICs), Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) and MNCs in Malaysia . He has been involved in large scale transformation and operational engagements leveraging his experience in corporate strategy, restructuring & turnaround, operations, post-acquisition/merger integration (PMI) and performance measurement & improvement.Kuhan holds a Mechanical (Aeronautical) Engineering degree, with a MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Sunny Xi is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Transportation and Services Practice based in the Singapore office and focuses on aviation sector coverage.  Sunny has broad expertise across commercial strategy, aviation policy, climate and sustainability, and transformation management. He developed the Net Zero pathway definition for aviation sector loan portfolio for two of the top 3 Southeast Asia banks. Sunny holds a BA Psychology and Economics from Yale University and an MBA in Multinational Management, Marketing and Operations from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
