During a pandemic crisis, the safety, health and wellbeing of people remains paramount. Leaders of companies will have to balance this, whilst being accountable in ensuring business continuity and performance. The COVID-19 impact to the workforce provides a defining leadership moment for business leaders, especially for Chief Human Capital Officers to take practical actions to sustain workforce resiliency and safeguard the business for now and the future.

We foresee the crisis to unfold across there distinct stages, alongside key scenarios and priorities to address the situation: #1 – Managing Through the Crisis, #2 – Restoring Stability and #3 – Operating Post-Crisis.

In addressing these priorities, companies must now focus on:

  • Redefining work to support the future way of work based on what will drive value
  • Protecting total rewards and wellbeing elements
  • Adopting an agile and continuous learning mindset will be key to get through this difficult time and be ahead of the curve in the ‘new normal’ post the COVID-19 situation.

At this 2-part webinar series, we will discuss the leadership actions that can be taken, as a guide for leaders to tackle the most immediate and short-term priorities at hand as well as mid and long-term planning to protect, preserve and create human capital value.
