Our Commitment to Excellence & Positive Change in Board Governance & Effectiveness

The theme “Mind the Gap, Close the Gap” symbolises a commitment to collaborative efforts towards building a robust, sustainable, and inclusive corporate environment, reflecting ICDM’s actionable plan to lead transformative change and establish new benchmarks in board governance. Since its establishment, ICDM has demonstrated significant growth in its services, reflecting its expanding impact and presence in the corporate sector. We have made remarkable strides in director education, offering numerous programmes that have been instrumental in enhancing the professional capabilities of directors. At the same time, we have contributed to the improvement of board effectiveness and governance practices and have been proactive in screening for new board talents and placing independent directors on boards.

This year’s ICDM Report offers detailed insights of the initiatives undertaken and impact we made in 2023, up to the first quarter of 2024.

Corporate governance as you know it has changed forever. Over the past year, we have heightened efforts to assist boards shift towards a proactive, sustainability-driven governance model – one that places equal emphasis on profit, people and the planet.
