ICDM Board of Audit & Risk Management Committee Dialogue & Networking Session (in collaboration with Deloitte Malaysia)
Board’s Role in Whistleblowing Oversight
24 October 2024 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Penta Hall, ICDM

Choosing to blow the whistle on a misconduct is a major decision that comes with potential consequences but having an effective whistleblowing framework in place can offer crucial support and protection, making it easier and safer to stand up for what is right.

While whistleblowing may not be the be-all and end-all to uncovering frauds or breaches of governance, it demonstrates a company’s commitment in upholding accountability and transparency – a key component that every board member should prioritise.

Join us for an engaging half day programme where we will explore the findings of the Deloitte 2024 Conduct Watch Survey Report. The presentation and panel discussions will give insights on the current state of whistleblowing practices, the evolving challenges and protection across Asia Pacific, new approaches to robust whistleblowing system as well as the boards’ role in ensuring ethical conduct across all levels within an organisation.

Register now and send us your burning questions or issues you would like to bring up during the dialogue session to advocacy@icdm.com.my. This dialogue session will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
